Directions

All events are held on Round Top Festival Institute’s campus, located 1/2 mile north of Round Top on State Highway 237 at Jaster Rd. The address is 248 Jaster Rd., Round Top, TX 78954.

Directions from Houston to Round Top

Get on the 610 loop going north past the Galleria.

Stay in the left three lanes.

These left lanes turn into US-290 towards Austin.

You will stay on US-290 to Austin for 65 miles, at which point you will be near Hempstead approaching Brenham.

As you get to Brenham you will want to follow the signs to 290-Austin. Staying on 290-Austin involves a right, clover leaf turn on the far side of Brenham. Watch for the signs – they are large and clear.

Having negotiated the turn to stay on 290-Austin you will go about 9 miles before you see

your next landmark, a sign for the town of Burton.

As you pass the sign for Burton you will soon see a large Citgo gas station on your right. The turn to Round Top (Tx 237) is two miles further down the road.

The signs for 237 are on the right but your turn onto 237 is to the left, going under the roadway The signs are small so watch carefully for them and move into the left lane as soon as you see them.

As soon as you take the left turn and emerge from the underpass you will see a sign saying Round Top 8 miles.

As you get close to Festival Hill you will see a wooden fence with a diamond pattern on your right, first a length of brown wood, then as you come upon Jaster Road on your right there is a short length of white diamond patterned fencing.

Turn right onto Jaster Road. Take the second driveway on your left to enter the Festival Hill property. The office is at the rear of the large Concert Hall building at the end of this driveway.

If you find yourself in the little town of Round Top you have gone one mile too far! Turn around and come back, looking for Jaster Road on your left!
